Story Lines

Believing thoughts to be facts can cause a lot of suffering, affecting inner life, relationships and even lead to the extremes of war. For me, meditation is an ongoing process of observing how thoughts arise and pass within the mirror of awareness, and discovering what they really are, not just in formal meditation, but also in everyday life.

Experimenting with ways of integrating ingrained story lines with art activities such as collage, drawing, painting, text from years of journals, asemic writing, wax and mixed media has evolved into a process expressing and giving insight into story lines and deeply held beliefs of what is real.
